Q: Do your reading habits change based on your mood? Do you read a certain genre if you are feeling depressed or happy?
Hmm...I do go through periods of alternating back and forth with genres I like, but if they are based on my moods then I've never noticed. Sometimes I just want something different and will start on a genre I haven't read in a while.

    I also tend to switch up the genre I'm reading once in a while- it helps keep everything interesting :)

    Hopping through. I vacillate between different types of books. It's hard to closely track it to my moods.

    Sometimes reading a different genre is a nice and refreshing... but with me, I don't think it's usually about my mood, most likely just because I'm burned out by a certain book.

    I just tend to read paranormals whatever my mood. That's what I like so that's what I read!

    Great answer, I also go alternate between genres, although for me it usually based on my moods amoung other things.

    If I read one book in a particular genre, and I really like it, I'll read several more in that genre. I don't read a lot of YA, but after I read a mature YA a couple of weeks ago, I read 4 or 5 more mature YAs.

    I sometimes do genre "binges" but mine tend to have more to do with season than mood.

    I have the same thing. Sometimes, I read many books in the same genre and on a moment, I just decide to start a book in another genre ^^

    You know, I can't say that I do. My book selection is entirely separate from my emotional status haha if it's a great book, it will make me feel something anyway :)

    Yeah, sometimes I can't tell what kind of mood I'm in. I just know what book I want to read.
